Opened by a Taiwanese celebrity, Muse has become very popular in Shanghai. The 2-floor venue is filled with lots of Chinese (both mainland and from Taiwan) and some foreigners. Downstairs it offers house music with DJs and human-beatbox performances that can be a bit annoying (better if they kept quiet or kept it short). And dancers. Upstairs has a smaller hip hop room that hops on weekends. The service at Muse can be slow, and don't expect the waiters to give you your change everytime.
