SHANGHAI ART GALLERIES DISTRICT - 50 MOGANSHAN ROAD

This complex of old Warehouses has become the main art galleries district of Shanghai. It started with a few art galleries and artists’ studios and now it is reminiscent of New York’s SOHO art galleries district in past days. Much of the art in the galleries is rather uninteresting, but there are some gems to be found. We recommend Art Scene Warehouse. Watch out for disreputable art dealers in Shanghai, even if they seem to be nice people.
