As you can easily see, Shanghai is a big city with a bustling nightlife. Bars and lounges come and go in Shanghai quickly. One week a venue is "in" and the next week it could be "out". It's tricky to know which bars will remain popular. We've picked the bars and lounges that are popular currently (October 2010). And we've tried to pick places that should remain popular due to a variety of reasons. We've also highlighted some tourist spots that are famous and hence popular, but not necessarily the best in our opinion.
